From optics and precise mechanics parts ZRAK DD Sarajevo reached to the optical and optoelectronic devices and laser technique.

The company started in 1948, from a small reparation center which has grown into the main optic industry in the region.

Before aggression on Republic Bosnia and Herzegovina ZRAK DD Sarajevo has employed 4250 experts and workers in his producing all over the Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Location

The most part of capacity of the ZRAK DD Sarajevo is located in Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Micro location is in the Adema Buće street No. 102.

Factory is located in inhabitant part of Sarajevo. Destination from downtown is only 3 km, but settled in soft valley and fare from unwished views.

Factory is connected with all infrastructures: electric, water, gas, telephone installations.

Smaller part of the ZRAK DD Sarajevo is located near the small town named Varesh, about 40 km fare from Sarajevo.

Part in Sarajevo: Company is owner of the total land area of 238.305 m2. In such complex there are more buildings, used for manufacturing, offices and another use.

Total building area in Sarajevo are 62.191 m2, from this 44.944 m2 is for producing and 17.247 m2 for offices and another proposals.

Complex has all infrastructures: Supply with electrical is on the way to have 3 own substations. It is supplied with industrial water and drink water. On gas installation connected. There is own hitter substations. There is own oil tank capacity of 50 tones.

Total building area in Vareš are 3.452 m2, from this 2.812 m2 is for producing, and 640 m2 for offices and dinning room.

Complex has all infrastructures: Supply with electrical is on the way to have one own substations. Supplied with own water spring. There is own hitter substations.

We have also exported some products to: USA, France, Austria, Germany, Holland, Swaziland, Canada, Egypt, Turkey, Portugal, Slovenia etc.

Independently and in cooperation with other research-development institutions, large range of modern designed optical and optoelectronics devices of military performances is developed for the purpose of equipping the infantry, artillery and armament of antiaircraft defense.
