Optical sight ON-M76B serves for sighting of single stationary, moving, open and camouflaged targets when firing with the sniper rifle 7.9 mm M76, 7.62×54; 762×51(N), both in day and night time conditions.

The sight ensures high accuracy in hitting small and remote targets during insufficient visibility (twilight and dawn).
